Next Tuesday is the day
for each citizen in the West M district to say no more taxes. It's
time for the district to tighten up their budget like most
companies and workers are doing. We pay enough taxes through
federal, state, Social Security, etc. Rising gas prices and energy
prices along with higher costs at the grocery store have put a
dent in some citizens' pockets, the dollar on the decline with
inflation on the rise and some people being laid off doesn't make
sense to ask for more money from voters. The district can tighten
the belt and still give a high standard of education, cut wages of
the current administration would be a good start, sell the
property of Dillon School would be another start. The economy is
not that great to be handing out more money that would benefit the
pockets of those who earn it.
